One common design asset required in most mixed reality experiences is a user interface. Now that we’re dealing with 3D physical space and no longer on 2D screens, designers have to rethink how these interactions are visualized. In my spare time I’ve been creating daily 3D renders as a way to keep myself updated with current design trends. For a few of those render series, I experimented bringing life to flat user interfaces with dimensionality and storytelling to see how they could live spatially in an abstract sense. These are designed purely for aesthetic appeal.
